Why Work for G&S Fence

We Prioritize Safety and Training – Our number one priority is to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our most valued assets,
our people. Each member of the G&S Fence team is required to participate in an extensive onboarding process that focuses on training, and review of our safety policies and procedures. Every crew leader is OSHA 30 Certified, and the balance of our crews are required
to obtain OSHA 10 certification within 90 days of employment.

G&S has developed a robust process that has been adopted by many of our customers that includes our own internal Job Site Analysis forms, Toolbox Talks, Equipment Checklist, as well as Daily and Weekly observation requirements by crew. While safety is an everyday priority for our people and our customers, we take the opportunity to bring all crews from across the country into our home office for a full week of immersive safety training every year. CPR Certification, Blood Borne Pathogens, Skid Steer Certification, OSHA 30/10 Training are all renewed on a yearly basis with the entire team.

We Offer an IRA-Compliant Apprenticeship Program – G&S Fence is proud to have its own, internal, Federally-recognized Apprenticeship Program which meets all IRA requirements. Our Apprenticeship Program combines OJT along with the proper amount of RTI for all members of our program. We are very familiar with IRA requirements, prevailing wage requirements, and reporting requirements by municipality.

Our team has helped many previous customers navigate the complex reporting requirements through certified payroll submission, correct labor classification assignments, as well as digital time tracking and GPS reporting by job site and location for our workforce. Give us a call if you have IRA requirements on your next commercial project!

We Hire a Diverse Workforce – We hire talent from all over the country and strongly encourage experienced applicants to submit their information for existing and upcoming projects. Multilingual applicants are welcome.
